Ecclesall Bedroom Renovation
This bedroom renovation job was based in Ecclesall Sheffield S11. The bedroom had 3 outside walls and was above the kitchen so it was noisy and cold. As there was a step down in to the room we decided to raise the floor by putting in a flase floor frame using timber. We then filled the cavity with sound and heat insulation. This made the floor warmer and stopped the noise from travelling up to the room. The walls were all taken back to brick and dot and dabbed with new plaster boards it was then skimmed. A new smaller double panel radiator replaced the old large single panelled one. The new radiator with the insulation made a real difference to the room.
