Brick porch builder Sheffield
The Brick Porch was built in Sheffield ecclesall.
It was built to the same specifications as an extension would be with 900mm deep foundations and Cavity insulated walls. The blocks on the inner skin were thermalites, the bricks were selected as the best match available and the brick work was toothed in to the original.
The floors and ceiling were also insulated. The roof was slated in real slate as opposed to man made slates so it matched the original house roof. There was a red composite door fitted with a window to the side.
The client has reported the temperature in the hallway is higher and also it helps retain the heat.
