Loft Renovation Sheffield
Sheffield Loft renovation.
This loft/attic renovation was based in Sheffield S5. It was already a loft but there was quite abit of unusable space hidden behind stud walls. The attic was stripped out completely walls and ceilings were taken down. We fitted 25mm of kingspan between the roof rafters taking care to leave a 50mm air gap for roof ventilation. The ceilings were then plaster boarded and plastered. We boarded the loft floor right into the eaves and stud work walls were built 4ft from the eaves to create a storage area behind the walls. The 1st floor was also moved around as you had to go from one bedroom through to another which just wasnt practical. We blocked up a door way and cut another in the brickwork and also built stud work to create a corridor making two seperate bedrooms. The overall effect was a large loft with plenty of storage and 1st floor with two seperate bedrooms.
